The main differences of this work are the idea of using thermal loading to find the relationship of the plastic zone size around the crack tip on the stress intensity factor, and the establishment of this relationship by calculation, in contrast to the experimental results obtained by Builo (2017). It can also be attributed to the novelty of the work
