Grea t a ttention was devoted to replace the same texture during re-construction phasis, due to the fact that it testify the technological level of the origina lmanufacturers. In this sense, it occurred a hand-made processingof the stones on site with a “dry” reconstructionof themissing masonry parts. The finishingphases consisted of filling the interlock zones with sma ll “dry” stones (without soil), to ensure permeability in case of ra in, followed by the applicationof a double layer of silt and sand, wet and beaten, to crea te a "surface crust" on the top of the wa lls. For this last aspect it was used the same lime available in the nearby.
