The static mechanical properties summarized in this works are: Young’s modulus (E), the engineering tensile proof stress (σ Y ), the engineering ultimate tensile strength (σ UTS ), and the strain at fracture (ε B ). The fatigue tests relevant to the plastics considered in this work are expressed in terms of range of nominal stress Δσ = σ max - σ min against the number of cycles to failure. According to the available data, fully-reversed (R=-1) as well as pulsating (R= 0) fatigue test results are summarised (i.e. for R=-1, Δσ = 2σ max while for R= 0 Δσ = σ max ).
