The goal of this study was to investigate the correlation between layer thickness and mechanical properties of additively manufactured parts using FDM. In order to do so, mechanical tensile tests were performed on samples made of ABS filaments. The tensile testing was carried out using a MTS Tensile Testing Machine with a load cell of 30 kN. The crosshead

speed was 10 mm/min according to the standard as shown in the Fig.3 (a). The figure Fig.3 (b) represent a tensile test result of a SENT printed specimen.

3. Results 3.1. Material Characterization

Tensile testing on a printed of the studied material are undertaken. The mechanical behavior of each of the specimens was analyzed. An example of a tensile test on a printed ABS material was presented in the fig.4.
