The standard test method used in the study follows the specification from the standard ASTM D638-14. The tests were performed on a universal testing machine (Instron 5566), with a 10 kN load cell and a crosshead speed of 2 mm/min . In Figure 4, two broken specimens after the tensile test are shown, namely specimen NS_-_3 in Figure 4a and specimen S_10_1 in Figure 4b. From the fractured surfaces (Figure 5), it is possible to observe that specimens with seams display a soother surface than specimens without them and that the fracture location is always in one of the ends of the seam when there is one.
