The stir casting process uses four-blade impellers with 45° angle. The stirring blade was coated with a TiO 2 ceramic, as shown in Fig. 1. The 6%wt reinforcement was added into the molten aluminum. Then it was stirred at 720-750°C for 5 minutes in 400 rpm. Wetting agent Mg was added 1%wt. The melt was poured into a permanent mold that was heated at 500°C. The stir casting equipment is shown in Fig. 2. The density and porosity calculated by the Archimedes method. The hardness test was measured with Hardness Brinell, according to ASTM E-10, with a 2.5 mm steel ball indenter and 62.5 kg load.
