purposes, which the laboratory experiment is mainly used to estimate material and structural integrity based on subject performance and overall damage after exposure to explosion loads. The numerical approach is also capable of evaluating the structural and material performance (e.g., by FEM), but environmental/air condition (such as due to gas explosion) is also found reliable to be computed by using CFD approach. Collaboration with ERA is very suitable, considering the characteristic of explosion loads requires a more detailed definition in analysis configuration.
