The use of materials with tensile strength exceeding 520 MPa causes the destruction of the detonator shell, but the use of weaker materials can ensure its integrity. To assess the shell material influence on the level of the destruction caused by explosion products, the loaded product destruction efficiency/shell material tensile strength dependence was built, see Fig. 4. The shell destruction efficiency is determined by formula: (1)
