The corundum content in the coatings obtained under different modes of arc metallization was also evaluated (Fig. 4). To calculation data on the content of corundum inclusions, a micro-x-ray spectral analysis of gas-thermal coatings was carried out, which revealed the Al content on the sample section.

A slight decrease in the proportion of corundum in the metallized coating is most likely due to the burnout of the alloying elements with an increase in the arc temperature with an increase in the current strength (Fig. 5).
