4. Modified housing bracket stress and fatigue analysis results The modified housing has been analyzed for the stress and fatigue load using the same loads and material data as analyzed with existing finite element analysis method and the stress level predicted for modified housing bracket as 119MPa and FOS is 1.34 in the static load condition and fatigue life is 9.16E6 with Fatigue factor of safety of 1.6 which is more than the target limit of 1.5.
