The results of study are summarized in Table 2 and Figure 6, where the relative decrease of the cross-section area A , cross-section modulus W and the load-carrying capacity due to increasing corrosion losses during the service life of the bridges are presented. The load-carrying capacity of the chosen bridge members was determined from the elastic bending resistances of the cross sections.
