influence of constraint loss on measured fracture toughness for the PCVN configuration and on T 0 . Clearly, these latter results are strongly suggestive of the effectiveness of the non-standard PCVN geometry with increased span in mitigating the effects of constraint loss on T 0 -estimates often observed in standard PCVN configurations.
