4. Conclusion
Presented achievements of the contemporary Serbian scientists and inventors in the field of seismic reliability of structures and landslide remediation, contributes to the systematization of research on the continuity in the application of exeptional technical solutions of Serbian scientists in the field of civil engineering. Having in mind that Branko Žeželj was one of the founders and long-time principal of IMS Institute and inventor of the worldwide known IMS Žeželj technology for building structures in pre -stressed concrete, the continuation in exceptional achievements of Serbian scientists is accomplished in this work with overview of contributions of two scientists and civil engineers, Zoran Petrašković and Nenad Šušić, who have gained their professional experience in the IMS Institute. Patented inventions created in 21 st century by Zoran Petrašković give a wide range of possible application for enabling seismic stability of structures, and are recognized as such on four continents under the name DC 90 System. Furthermore, he has made significant scientific contribution in the field of fatigue of materials, and thus determined the parameters that define low-cyclic fatigue of the DC 90 System devices. Besides aforementioned, DC90 technology was awarded by Brussels Eureka. Patented geo-constructive landslide remediation and prevention systems invented by Nenad Šušić offer simpler and more economical solution for installation. This is of particular importance in urban areas, where inventions of Nenad Šušić have been successfully applied. His systems for landslide remediation in urban areas have been recognized internationaly as exeptional, because he was awarded with several international awards for inventions, among which are golden medal "IENA" of the international innovation fair in Nürnberg for invention (2006) and the gold medal of the XI International Fair of Innovation and new technologies in Sevastopol (2015).
