 There is no effect of Al thickness, t al , on the peeling stress, σ Peel , up to t al ratio equals 2, while, beyond this value σ Peel increased by increasing t al .  Peeling strength ( P Peel /W) is a good parameter to predict the peeling strength and its constant regarding value of W.  The ratio of maximum size of undamaged defect ( d max ) to the interface width is equal to 0.2. This value is valid for circular imperfection and surface roughness 0f 3.75 µm for Al-brass interface.  The model was verified and more investigation will be conducted in future.
