At this stage, sketches of the plant, cutting of the details that are necessary, and from these schematic drawings, must be elaborated, firstly, to take measurements and dimensions. All material must be digitized with the use of CAD tool and will be part of the data set and information about the building. Based on the previous information, it’s part of the elaboration of the diagnosis, a stage in which considerations are made about the state of conservation of the building, the primitive formal elements still recognized and the subsequent enhancements, the architectonic typology, the system and building materials (State of conservation of the structures, foundation and building materials), in order to guide and ground the project, with the identification, presentation and dimensioning of the pathologies presented by the building and subsequent evaluation of its causes. 2.4 Stage 4 - Inventory Mounting and Chips. The construction of the inventory and, subsequently, a dossier about the work, is an indispensable step in the process, for providing essential information for the conduct of the project and also for contributing to the historical record of architectural assets, including measures of alteration in the same. Thus, in this final stage, it was planned to assemble the inventory and presentation to the interest groups and authorities involved. 3. Parameters reached Taking into account the stages of the Tafona Farm's inventory project, we highlight the progress, results and impressions of each of the moments. Initially, for the cataloging of the building, the model inventory form of the Institute of Historic and Artistic Patrimony of the State of Rio Grande do Sul (IPHAE / RS) was used. For the items to be surveyed, historical cultural and morphological-architectural relevance were considered. So we have in each of the steps: 3.1 Stage 1 - Survey of data in public sectors At this stage we observed that public entities, such as the Municipal Historical Archives of Cachoeira do Sul and City Hall, had very little material for consultation. Despite the helpfulness and goodwill of the members of these agencies, the amount of information contained in the material was scarce in the face of everything we should check. The material found in the collections of these entities consisted of newspapers and an outdated photographic survey of the main house’s façade. Besides this, another factor that restricted the access to the data was the fact that such materials were mainly manuscript or printed in monographs (single works) and are often deposited in only one place. It’s still not common in Brazil for the institutions to digitize or make this kind of documentation available on the network. However, due to the existence of these forms, it was possible to have the bases to make decisions on how to start the research. 3.2 Stage 2 - Documentary survey This stage comprised the phase of searching for documentary information so that they could elucidate the history of the Farm, the surroundings and the property. As the owner had been seeking information from her family for some time, she had a relatively comprehensive material, consisting of letters, inventories, certificates and photographs that we could handle to recount the evolution of the property. To complement some information, interviews were conducted by the owners (Silva, 2017), which occurred in an unstructured way, since they were open and guided with flexibility, in search for a meaning according to the interviewee's understanding, as described by Rocheli Diel (2015, p. 48). An important point to note here is that there was a rather large filter in considering as "evidence" only the documents that stated with certainty that this fact had occurred there. Since it is very common in processes of historical research that the community or even owners draw a story that does not always match reality and ends up guarding important facts and praising facts that sometimes are not true. This was a care taken to maintain the suitability of the inventory and generate a truthful document with technical quality for later handling.
