4. Conclusions Low-cycle fatigue tests for steel effects in rigid loading were examined. Strain amplitude and strain rate effects on the stable cycle at low-cycle deformation for steel C45E were experimentally studied. The stabilisation effect of the hysteresis loop for steel C45E with varying durations of cycles was revealed in the selected loading regimes. Finally, the duration of the stability of the hysteresis strain width decreases with increasing amplitude.
