It should be noted that Material-2 properties resemble Waspaloy at 700 o C (Xia et al. 1998) and Material-1 is a hypothetical material with a stronger creep resistance in terms of creep strain rate.

In a similar fashion, crack tip transition from an elastic plastic material to elastic creep material is simulated. The material inhomogeneity under such transition in presence of a crack is show in Fig. 2.
