5. Results and discussions Figure 6 presents crack path estimates for the tests C2, C3 e C4. The solid black lines represent the experimental crack path. The solid red and blue lines depict the results from Method 1 and Method 2 respectively. Note that the crack paths obtained by Method 1 are very close to the experimental ones. On the other hand, considering the Method 2, crack path estimates presented a persistent deviation from the experimental observations.
