The proposed workflow has proven to be replicable and efficient, and its application to a real-world bridge demonstrates how structured and interoperable infrastructure digitization can significantly support inspection, monitoring, and maintenance activities. In the broader context of digital transformation, this approach provides opportunities for its application to other types of bridges, for automatically assessing additional risk classes in a parametric environment, and for integrating it with predictive systems, thereby strengthening the role of the information model as an operational tool in the management and preventive maintenance of existing structures. Acknowledgements The authors gratefully acknowledge the Province of Campobasso and the staff of its technical department for their valuable cooperation in the management and maintenance of the provincial infrastructure assets. This activity represents the further development of the work carried out within the framework of a long-standing collaboration coordinated for the University of Molise by Prof. Giovanni Fabbrocino.
