Wind Tunnel Results: Observation of Flutter Occurrence with and without Gyroscopic Stabilizer Figure 4 shows the effect of the input DC voltage, applied to the DC motors used to engage the stabilier, on the gyroscopic device’s dynamic properties: (a) angular velocity and (b) gyricity Ω , for both Section Models 1 and 2. In Fig. 4(a), is obtained by interpolating preliminary experimental measurements without wind flow, taken at incremental voltage steps, after the system and stabilizer reached steady state.
