This is an open access article under the CC BY-NC-ND license (https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0) Peer-review under responsibility of the scientific committee of the Conference Abstract In recent years, the safe and efficient management of infrastructure assets, particularly bridges, has become increasingly significant due to their strategic role in territorial systems and their exposure to natural and anthropogenic risks. To address these needs, a paradigm change has led to the adoption of new regulatory and technological tools to improve the documentation, risk assessment and maintenance processes of existing infrastructure. In this context, digitalization is playing a central role for the management and analysis of heterogeneous information. Particular attention has been given to the Bridge Informative Modelling (BrIM), which is emerging as a key support tool for bridge inspection, monitoring, management and maintenance. This paper fits into this context and proposes an operational workflow for the digital management of inspections, based on the integration of relational database, BrIM modelling and visual programming. Using data collected during inspections, the workflow enables the automatic update of the BrIM model, improving information consistency and traceability and reducing errors associated with manual data updates. The framework was tested on a real use case, demonstrating the replicability and effectiveness of the proposed approach. The results highlight how structured and interoperable data digitalization can address issues related to information fragmentation and integration between different systems, laying the basis for interoperable and scalable digital solutions supporting predictive infrastructure management.
