Visual inspections carried out in 2025 revealed widespread deterioration, particularly corrosion-related damage. Longitudinal cracking and local spalling were observed in the arches, while the hangers exhibit vertical and transverse cracking with reinforcement corrosion. At the deck intrados, exposed and corroded reinforcement, moisture stains, efflorescence, and degraded concrete were identified. Bearings show oxidation and debris accumulation, and severe corrosion affects metallic components at the tie-beam ends and post-tensioning anchorages. On piers and abutments, degradation is mainly associated with water action, with a sealed diagonal crack observed on one pier. Previous investigation campaigns included material testing and reinforcement surveys. These were supplemented by additional exposure tests, stress-release tests on slab and hanger elements, and dynamic tests on both individual hangers and the global structure, aimed at improving the overall knowledge and assessment of the bridge.
