5. Conclusions This study has presented the initial findings from a comprehensive full-scale monitoring campaign on a prestressed reinforced concrete bridge, focusing on the undamaged state and the effects of structural configuration changes on its dynamic behavior. The deployment of a dense and heterogeneous sensor network enabled the accurate capture of global and local responses under varying boundary conditions and environmental influences. Results demonstrated that modifications such as the installation or removal of safety barriers significantly affect the modal parameters, particularly natural frequencies, confirming the sensitivity of vibration-based indicators to changes in structural stiffness and boundary conditions. Moreover, the simultaneous monitoring of environmental variables allowed for a clear distinction between frequency variations caused by operational or environmental effects and those attributable to structural modifications. The outlier detection approach proved effective in identifying abnormal structural behavior associated with configuration changes, validating its potential as a tool for continuous health monitoring.
