From the results it can be concluded that it is sufficient to provide the supporting structure of the boiler room that is fire resistant for 30 minutes. 5. Analysis - Analysis - Gretener’s method - version SIA81 In this method the following equation is applied:

P A N S F   

(15)

R B A

S S G  

where R S – fire risk; B S – specific fire hazard factor; А G – factor of fire activation; P – factor of potential fire risk; N – factor of general fire safety measures; S G – factor of special fire safety measures; F S – factor of fire resistance of the building structure. The factor of potential fire risk ( P ) is calculated as: G G G G P Q C e R K k       (16) where Q G – factor of fire load; C G – factor of combustion; e – factor of position and size of the fire sector; R G – smoke hazard factor; K G – corrosion hazard factor; k – harm to property coefficient. From R S =B S =N=S G =e=R G = K G =k =1 we obtained that For solid fuels we have Q G = C G =F S = 1 . Hence, it is sufficient that the supporting structure of the boiler room is fire resistant for 30 minutes. For gaseous fuels we have Q G = 1 and C G =F S = 1.6 . So, it is sufficient that the supporting structure of the boiler room is fire resistant for 30 minutes. For liquid fuels the result will depend on the movable specific fire load Q m as given in Table 5. Table 5. Conclusion In Central Europe the usual methodology for assessing the fire resistance of building structures of industrial facilities is given by the technical standard DIN18230: 2010 with limitations regarding the facilities in which energy is produced or distributed. This paper presents one possibility for assessing the fire resistance of the building structure of a boiler room. Three standardized procedures were used to assess fire risks. Considering the initial assumptions from the results it can be concluded that for boiler rooms where gaseous and solid fuels are used for generating energy it is sufficient to provide fire resistance of the building structure of 30 minutes.
