- Differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) analysis was carried out to determine the values of glass transition temperature (Tg), using device DSC Q20 device (TA Instruments), under a nitrogen flow (50 ml min -1 ) in the temperature range from 0-200 ºC; - Tensile testing: tensile strength, elongation, and modulus of elasticity were determined at -30°C, +20°C, +50°C, using INSTRON 1122 universal testing device, at 50 mm/min speed of clamps; - Impact testing was done using a Zwick Charpy pendulum with 7.5 J maximum energy, to determine impact toughness at -30°C, +20°C, and +50°C.

3. Results and discussion The registered FTIR spectra for the neat PLA and PLA/CF are shown in Figure 2.
