3. Results and discussion The basis for calculating the stress-deformed state, which describes the features of structure under different types of loading was provided (Fig. 5). In this case, the stress-deformed state of the reinforced bending curved wooden element has predominant effect of the internal moment. So, tensile and compression zones appear in the cross section.

In the second case (Fig. 6) a predominant compressive force occurs. This causes compression of the entire cross section. The first and second cases of the stress-strain state are observed in structural elements in which bending with compression occurs. Such elements include arches, curved beams and columns, to which a force with eccentricity is applied.
