2. Experimental Methodology The following is a detailed account of the methodology, delineating the steps from initial preparation to the conclusion of the experiment, inclusive of the data recording process. It is imperative that the experiment be conducted in a dark environment, with the area where the smoke is generated illuminated. a) The Preparation Phase (Figure 3):  The initial stage of the process entails the introduction of the oil into the syringe (a).  The servo motor system (b) should then be connected to the battery.  The wire (c) should be extended using the motors.  The current cables (d) should then be connected to the wire.
