3. Results The numerical results reported hereaÇfter concern different aspects of delamination in beam-like structural components under harmonic loads. The data on which these results are based are as follows: b = 0.050 m, l = 1.500 m, a = 0.350 m, h = 0.080m, h 1 = 0.048 m, 0.032 2 h m, 5 1 n , 3 2 n , 2 3 n and 0.8 .

To qualify the change of the maximum J with n , the J max - n relation is ascertained and reported in Fig. 2. The curve in Fig. 2 highlights a strong non-linear relation between J max and n . The most important feature of the evolution of J max with n is that J max grows with a rapidly increasing rate (Fig. 2).
