1. Introduction Synthetic jet actuator (SJA) is an active flow control system that reattaches detached turbulent boundary layers to the wing surface, boosting fuel efficiency. An SJA is a flow controller that manipulates surrounding fluid without altering total mass flow. The Visaton SC 8 N loudspeaker is chosen for this study because of its success in SJA simulations and experimental tests.
