can be given by the distribution of the normalized equivalent stress eq Y   / . Analysis of this value showed that the maximum point of eq  is the most dangerous place in the structure.

4. Conclusions The developed calculation technique makes it possible to investigate in an analytical form the influence of the mechanical and geometric characteristics of the functionally gradient ceramic coating on its stress state and limit equilibrium under an arbitrary oriented local load. Using the accepted model and an example of a linear approximation of the functionally gradient ceramic coating on the piecewise homogeneous substrate, the interaction of the coating with fixed and unfixed abrasive was investigated. It is shown that the level of equivalent stresses in the case of interaction of functionally gradient coating with a fixed abrasive is higher than for an unbonded abrasive, making this case, as expected, more dangerous.
