Trojanović (1961) talks about the necessity of calculating the rheology, and the influence of flow, on the deflections and that the external prestressing often does not give a satisfactory behavior of the construction. But the Vallet II arch, in the hands of a skilled and dexterous designer, can be rational, which was shown here in the calculation of the scaffolding of the large arch, and the longitudinal division of the large arch into three phases of const ruction. After the bridge in Novi Sad, in 1963, Žeželj designed a bridge over the Dubrovnik River, spanning 320 m, by Petrović (2005). The construction of the bridge was designed using the cantilever method (without the classic scaffolding) from prefabricated elements. This project has not been implemented. 6. Foundation of long arch with RC propping, and caisson. Ilija Stojadinović and Stanko Šram later applied the principle of prefabricated scaffolding and cantilever construction to the RC arch of the bridge itself, first on Šibenik Bridge (Šibenik Bay in 1966, span 246.4 m, the first long-span bridge in the world where the arch is completely cantilevered), Pag Bridge (mainland - island of Pag, 1969, span 193.2 m), until the multi-decade world record of Krk Bridge ( mainland - the island of Saint Marko-Krk). So, Žeželj, by using prefabricated RC scaffolding, brought arched RC and PC bridges of large span back into play, on the world stage, by Šram (2002).

Designer team is: Ilija Stojadinovic, Vukan Njagulj and Bojan Mo ž ina . Builder is Stanko Šram, Ilija Stojadinović, Dragan Vukadinović, Veselin Radević, Nikola Krgušić, Arsen Pribić, Milivoj Vučković. Contractor is M ostogradnja, Beograd. Contractor specifficaly for prefafricated deck construction is Hidroelektra, Zagreb, by Š ram (2002). Unfortunately, both companies are bankrupt. 7. Conclusion The specificity of the construction of the scaffolding and arches of the Žeželj’s bridge in Novi Sad, enabled after 20 years of development, achievement of the world record, Krk bridge (mainland - the island of Saint Marko-Krk). Designer was Ilija Stojadinovic and builder was Stanko Šram.
