In the present study, pushover analysis is performed. In fig.3 (a) represents the pushover curve, that shows the capacity curve of the bridge. It depicts the variation of displacement (m) w.r.t. base shear force (KN). Fig. 3 (b) gives the performance point as (V, D) as (6072.78 KN,14mm) at DBE loading. It also gives the performance point as (Sa, Sd) as (0.354, 0.015). Capacity spectrum Method (FEMA 440) is used. It is noted that no performance point was achieved at MCE loading. The yield displacement and ultimate displacement was observed as 8.75mm and 11.8 mm respectively. The ductility ratio is the ratio of ultimate displacement to the yield displacement, calculated as 1.35. This ratio talks about the ability of a structure to behave plastically before failure. Fig.4 gives the probability of exceeding damage at DBE and MCE loading at slightly, moderate, extensive and complete damage states with reference to Hazus manual. The probability of exceeding the slight damage, moderate damage, extensive damage and complete damage at Sa (0.5g) is 88%, 66%, 60% and 54% respectively. The probability of exceeding the slight damage, moderate damage, extensive damage and complete damage at Sa (1g) is 99%, 92%, 89.58% and 89% respectively. These values
