Split Tensile Strength of Concrete Samples This chart compares the split tensile strength of conventional concrete with that of concrete containing 10% Cenosphere replacement over 7, 14, and 28 days. The split tensile strength of M20 concrete improved with the partial replacement of cement by 10% Cenospheres. The test results show the strength increases of approximately 8 – 13% at 7, 14, and 28 days compared to conventional concrete. This improvement is due to the enhanced microstructure and pozzolanic activity of Cenospheres, making them a viable additive for improving tensile performance in sustainable concrete mixes. 5.3. Flexural Strength Prisms of size 100 mm x 100 mm x 500 mm were cast using M20 grade of concrete and tested after 7 days, 14 days and 28 days for flexural strength of the concrete mix for the following combinations.
