Abstract This study for sustainable material has become crucial for India’s rapid infrastructure growth, which contributes heavily to greenhouse gases emissions and resources depletion. Geo-Polymer Concrete (GPC) proposes a greener solution, but conventional method of two-part systems involves complexity in mix designs and hazardous liquid activators. This work explores a experimental study on one-part GPC using dry Anhydrous Sodium Metasilicate (ASM) and Ground Granulated Blast Furnace Slag (GGBS), with different proportions based on IS code guidelines. When the dosage increased from 0% to 14 %, a significant improvement recorded in strength, peaking at 47.97 MPa at 14% ASM. However, beyond this range, strength gains slightly declined, likely due to excess alkalinity. The test results showed early strength development at 7 days, good workability at a 0.41 water-to-binder ratio, and good flexural and split tensile strengths. Also, a cost analysis of GPC was done with conventional concrete which results in 20 percentage saving of cost. These results confirm that one-part GPC is a simpler, and high-performance alternative suitable for eco friendly and fast-paced construction and reduce costs. © 2025 The Authors.
