coir and 40% jute, also performed well, particularly in terms of impact strength and hardness, though slightly inferior to Sample 4. In contrast, Sample 1, composed of banana and coir fibers, showed the lowest mechanical strength, highlighting the beneficial role of jute fiber in improving composite properties. Overall, the results suggest that a balanced combination of banana, coir, and jute fibers significantly improves both the mechanical behaviours of epoxy composites. Given their strength, durability, and resistance to moisture, such natural fiber-reinforced composites (Sample 4) are promising for various civil engineering applications, including non-structural panels, wall partitions, false ceilings, decorative elements, and eco-friendly construction materials where moderate mechanical strength and biodegradability are desirable.
