3.4. Limit load analysis In this study, a limit load analysis is performed using static- structure module of ANSYS™. The simulation parameters for the limit load analysis are detailed in Table 4. In this scenario, load is uniformly distributed and gradually applied to the top plate. The objective is to determine the limiting load under these conditions, followed by the calculation of the factor of safety. The analysis assumes elastic perfectly plastic behavior of TZM alloy, as shown in Fig. 10. In Fig. 11, the load vs. deformation behavior of the job-carrier is illustrated. Notably, the limiting load has been identified as 180 kN. Consequently, the computed factor of safety amounts to 45.
