The effect is relevant in the area adjacent to rolled joint. As reported by Langille et. al. (2021) this area is also expected to have higher as the Zirconium material gets additional hydrogen from the end-fitting. Fig. 12 shows that the value of _ increases with in presence of residual stresses.
