distance of ~35mm from the leading edge. The results obtained are presented in Fig. 6(c). It can be clearly understood that there are tensile residual stresses that developed with a magnitude of ~120 MPa at the interface of laser hardened and unaffected blade material were observed at distances of ~29 mm and ~ 33 mm.
