initiate from metallurgical stress concentrations, such as, persistent slip bands, grain boundaries, pores, non-metallic inclusions or particles, which is accelerated by aggressive environment and localized pit formation [2]. Similar fractographic features were observed in our XS steel having YS = 444 MPa, similar to that of X60 steel.
