The system's time period is determined to be 67 ms. The duration of the shock load varies to create impulsive, dynamic, and quasi-static conditions for comparison with the FEM results from the analytical model are presented. Fig. 2 provides an isometric view of the finite element model and the reinforcement arrangement. The concrete section is modeled using C3D8R elements with finer meshing near the load application point, while the reinforcement bars are represented as wire objects and discretized using T3D2 truss elements. Reinforcement details for the column and beam can be found in Table 3 and Table 4.
