of the base and the half-crack length. Fig. A.3 shows the results of the extrapolation and explains why the Annex N solutions do not produce the same values of T-stress as the FEA models used in this report. Further extrapolation was required because no embedded flaw solutions exist in BS7910 (2019). It was found that the T-stress results from embedded flaw models were in-keeping with these results and therefore also considered acceptable.
