5. Conclusions
This article presented a methodology of damage detection under varying temeprature conditions using the SPT CWT to analyse sequences of time series responses of a cantilever beam subjected to pink noise. It was demonstrated that at the scale of analysis the effects of damage and temperature changes could be clearly identified. The method was tested on experimental results and no attempt was made to eliminate noise from the experimental data.
