3.1 Guidelines for preparation of PCMM The template of a PCMM can take the form of a matrix shown in Table 1, constituted by a set of columns containing information relating to the items are explained below. Field (1) is used to identify the work activities that will be subject to control, measurement and monitoring. The activities to be identified should be critical, to ensure the conformity of the execution of the work with the project. Example: The interior coatings work phase can be divided into the following activities: 1) preparing the work, 2) receiving materials, 3) running plasters, 4) application of ceramic; …

In field (2) it is used to indicate which inspection or test to use in quality control to measure and monitor the critical activity under analysis. An inspection results in the assessment of conformity is made by observation and examination accompanied by measurements, tests or comparisons. Examples: visual inspection; calculating topographical; geotechnical measurements; Metric measurement; PH determination; Concrete compression test; determining the chloride content; ... In field (3) explained what the purpose of inspection or testing and shown it to be measured in the context of the activity under review. Example: Check the verticality of the formwork; verify the concrete drop height; verify receipt of the material; Verify compliance with the project ...; In field (4) it is necessary to indicate which normative and regulatory references are used to compare and analyze the results obtained in the inspections and in the tests carried out. And what are the criteria for acceptance of the results of inspections and tests. Example: Technical specifications of products; project; standards; Regulations; Acceptance criteria - pH- value ≥ 4; sample mass> 8kg; Dimensional variation +/ - 2mm; Joint width <2mm; ... In the field (5) and the sampling frequency of inspections to be carried out must be identified to ensure the systematic monitoring, measurement and monitoring. Example: Periodicity - Start of work; Beginning of work; End of works, weekly, daily, monthly, ...; Sampling: By lot; By delivery; In each m3; By structural element; Per lot; In every 100m2, ...
