Fig. 3 shows the graphical checks on the Acceleration Displacement Response Spectrum (ADRS) for the Life Safety (LS) and the Collapse Prevention (CP) limit states according to the Italian Building Code NTC 2018 (2018). The LS is verified three cases out of four, and the CP in only two. The ductility in X direction is between 2.98 and 4.86, and it was evaluated by the ratio of the ultimate displacement over the yield displacement. The analyses in Y direction were more complex due to the high fragility of the shear walls. Fig. 4 shows the pushover curve in +Y direction under the Group 1 force distribution. The collapse of the walls was followed by the premature collapse of the columns and consequently by a sharp drop of resistance. Under the Group 2 force distribution, the pushover in Y direction could not overcome the shear collapses.
