5.2. Private building aggregates The aggregates to be reconstructed are those above the isolated terraced platform, namely those included within the central core of the historic settlement, called "Cassero". The urban, road and building fabric is reconstituted in a manner substantially similar as that which existed before the 2016 seismic event according to the concept "where it was, how it was", except for the minor variations already provided for in the Recovery Plan. The shape of the aggregates will therefore respect that of the pre-existing aggregates, in accordance with the provisions of the Implementation Plan. The design approach designed for the rebuilding of Castelluccio of Norcia involves reconstructing the aggregates on a terraced platform seismically isolated at the base, having the dimensions of a section of the entire town. In order to preserve the height distribution of the buildings on the hill and, therefore, the architectural-landscape context of Castelluccio, respecting both structural and landscape constraints, the difference between the heights of the isolated platform and those of the buildings elevation to be rebuilt will be compensated with rigid box-like bases in reinforced concrete underlying the buildings and having the same shape. The rigid box-shaped bases allow both the realization of the rigid surface below the buildings, and can be used for public and private uses.

5.3. Buildings of worship (Cultural Heritage) The rebuilding work will also affect religious buildings such as the Santa Maria Assunta’s Church and the Holy Sacrament’s Oratory, located in the center of Castelluccio’s historic core, registered as Assets of Cultural Interest, pursuant to Articles 10 and 12 and 128 of Legislative Decree 42/2004 and subsequent amendments. The Santa Maria Assunta’s Church, built in the sixteenth century represents the period of Castelluccio’s greatest growth in historical times. The church building, together with the bell tower, built in the nineteenth century, the churchyard and the city gate represented a centrality for the settlement. The damage, the collapses and the consequent
