In Figure 5 the comparison between the proposed formula and the result of pushover analysis is provided. The points, indicating the load multipliers of each wall, are all allocated very close to the bisector line (λ eq =B pes /(2H eq )), with exception of some point, the walls 4x, 12x and 13x, that exhibit a greater distance. These walls are characterized by a greater irregularity in opening in horizontal and vertical direction. Consequently, the results show that values obtained with the proposed formula well approximate the values obtained by the pushover analysis and the scatters assume greater values as the irregularity in the arrangement of the openings in the vertical and horizontal direction increases.
