2.2. Numerical procedure A standard numerical procedure, Fontani et al., 2017, for determining the inelastic response spectra at constant ductility is used. The procedure steps are reported in Figure 2.

3. Seismic Input Thirty natural earthquake records are chosen using REXEL, Iervolino et al., 2010, with a target elastic spectrum defined by the IBC with PGA a g = 0.167g, F o = 2.351, and periods T B = 0.111 s, T C = 0.332 s, and T D = 2.280 s. The spectrum was defined to be representative of a medium-high seismicity zone in Italy.
