3.2. Masonry material properties The mechanical properties of the masonry have been estimated on the base of its constitutive elements: brick, Table 1 and mortar Table 2 according to the provisions of the Italian NTC2018 [NTC2018] and the Eurocode 6, [EC6]. Specifically, brick type A6R55W as supplied by the San Marco-Terreal Italia and mortar type Mape Antique as supplied by Mapei, have been selected since they are in line with the masonry characteristics of historical constructions. The mortar, lime based, is classified as type G class M5 for a water to lime ratio equal to of 5 liters / 25 kg of product.
