The study indicates that the strain energy release rate reduces when

    2 2 / ratios increase. The increase of h b / ratio leads also to reduction of the strain energy release rate. The analysis of the effect of delamination location along the beam width reveals that the strain energy release rate is maximal when the delamination is located near the vertical mid-plane of the beam structure.
