4.2. Test condition The Manson-Coffin curve and the cyclic hardening curve were plotted with the fatigue tests carried out under the following conditions: • Machine test: hydraulic machine MTS11 SE aligned [6] and [10], capacity 100KN (see Fig. 4) • Temperature test: ambient, • Specimen shape: Cylindrical, see Fig. 3 • Strain ratio: = = 0.1 (1) • Test control, [7] and [11]: strain controlled until stabilization or 100 000 cycles then in effort with the variation of effort obtained in the stabilized cycle, • Signal: sinusoidal shape • Test frequency: 1Hz in strain controlled and 20Hz in force controlled, [8] and [12], • Fatigue life target: between 10 cycles and 10 6 cycles, • Stopped criteria: specimen failure or censorship (10 6 cycles).
